# Overview

# Overview

Overseer groups all moderation events under a user's `/history`. These are called **cases** and are created by:

* `/punish`
* `/ban`
* `/note`

Each case has an associated ID which can be used in the `/revokeinfraction` (aka `ri`) command as well as `/note remove`.

  `/mute` **does not** create cases, meaning that they are **not** stored on a user's `/history`.
